DEEP SURFACE was our winning scheme for the UTS Masterplan Hoarding Ideas Competition for the Broadway Facades. Our thinking began with a step back. ‘How could treatment of the significant quantum of hoardings associated with the UTS Masterplan serve to unify the campus in a time of interruption and confusion?’ This led us to a concept of a unifying colour, forming a cohesive backdrop to numerous creative ‘moments’ proposed across the campus.
UTS is now exploring possibilities to implement our ideas for Broadway along with other proposals across the campus.
